Before anything else I'm going to simply state that obviously balancing the game and/or adding new meaningful content is needed but! Pgi still depends on mech packs, thus, they'll continue to produce them. So please don't clog up this thread with the obvious, thank you.

What'll be the next IS mech? What do you think it will be? Or, what do you want it to be?

I'm pretty sure Russ confirmed we're getting a new IS mech announcement after the Huntsman release.

I think there's a fair chance we'll get the Charger. It was in the poll with the Zeus & Cyclops. It didn't have the strongest support at the time but it could be it's time.

Alternatively, many here on the forums & Twitter have been asking for a light mech because it's been a year since the last one was released, the Jenner IIC. However Lights are in a bad spot on top of being unpopular so it's hard to say. I'd want the Javelin if it turns out to be a light mech.

My number one desire is the Nightstar. It has strong support, looks great, expands the weak 95t bracket & would be a generally great addition to the game.

100 percent of people i surveyed said the next IS mech should be the Anvil 60 ton ECM capable, JJ ready heavy mech.

Crusader, dammit! Crusader! I want to say Wasp or Stinger, but PGI doea appear to have developed a phobia towards light mechs.

Tough to predict. I'm personally hoping for the Crusader, and I'm also sure it's going to be one of the next few ones.

And goes without saying, I hope they add some light 'mechs at some point. I still feel Stinger and Wasp would make sense -- from lore perspective but probably also financially. They could work based on the PXH model, and the two 'mechs are virtually the same, so they could develop two for the cost of one. The DOA crowd will have a field day, but I think the sales would be sufficient.

The Crusader is just another 65t missile mech, yeah it's unseen but beyond that?

Not _just_ another missile mech. The Stock base model of the Crusader has hardpoints of every type. Missiles, ballistic and energy so it should be possible for those who don't like to run Things Stock or super-Stock to make quite a few builds. Granted, the missiles _are_ the main weaponry of the Stock Version, but when has that meant anything to those who don't care for lorebuilds?

Me, I'd run it "super-Stock" myself, but that's because I'm a self-admitted atubborn, old lore-grognard. I'm sure the numbercrunchers out there could find other viable builds than a missile focused Crusader.

That said, yes, it's unseen and that is the primary reason I want it. :)

The funny part about the Charger is that despite it being mostly a laughingstock in TT it might actually work really well in MWO. An assault with a whole lot of energy hardpoints and the ability to run a 400 rated engine? Doesn't sound like something which would be declared DOA by the numbercrunchers in this game. :)

Can we get a mechanic where for excessive team damage, your 'mech gets automatically replaced by the stock Charger for next game? (I mean the STD-400 5xSL version.)

Inner Sphere mechs, the Pirahna would be fun but it's not relevant.

Are you people sure PGI can make crusader as it would require missile hardpoints in legs and they're notoriously incapable of adding any new content except mech skins?
